Justin Bieber Taps Ludacris, Usher, & Snoop Dogg for ‘Peaches (Remix)’

Yeah, that’s it.

After topping the charts with “Peaches,” Justin Bieber calls on a trio of OGs—Ludacris, Usher, and Snoop Dogg—for the official remix to his chart-topping hit, which originally featured Daniel Caesar and Giveon.

Luda reps the Peach State with a sweet verse followed by his fellow Georgian, Usher, who adds his smooth touch (“Big apple, but I love that peach,” he sings). The King of the West Coast blazes up a smoking verse of his own. “You know I got it on me / Finest only,” raps Snoop before declaring himself the “ambassador of legalization.”

“Peaches,” which appears on Bieber’s album Justice, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and is currently No. 6 on the chart.

Bieber will bring “Peaches” to an arena near you when he returns to the road on his “Justice World Tour” starting in February 2022.

A$AP Rocky Documentary ‘Stockholm Syndrome’ to Premiere at Tribeca Film Festival

A$AP Rocky’s 2019 stint in a Swedish prison made international headlines.

Now the Harlem rapper is sharing his story in a new documentary Stockholm Syndrome, which will premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival as part of its Juneteenth programming on Sunday, June 13, at 8 p.m.

Directed by The Architects, the 105-minute film covers Rocky’s music and his experience with the Swedish judicial system through archival footage, interviews, animation, and live concert footage, with appearances from Kim Kardashian, Naomi Campbell, Tyler, the Creator, Michèle Lamy, and A$AP Ferg.

According to a press release, “Stockholm Syndrome chronicles the meteoric rise of this contemporary trendsetter, capturing the exuberance of youth and urgency of hip-hop in equal parts, before taking a detour into darkness.”

Rocky spent over a month in a Swedish detention center following a street brawl in Stockholm in June 2019. The incident caught the attention of Kanye West and former President Donald Trump, who negotiated for his release. He was eventually found guilty by a Swedish court, but did not have to serve additional jail time.

In a recent interview with GQ, Rocky said the support he received “made me happy while being in there, because when you in jail, you feel like nobody cares.”

He also remained productive and hopeful despite being confined to a cell for 23 and a half hours a day. “I never thought that things that I imagined while I was in jail would come true,” he said. “And everything that I envisioned in prison came to fruition. ‘Cause I guess I manifested it. And I prayed! I really wanted to bless that situation and move on from it in a positive way. I was praying to stay strong, and God got me through shit like it was nothing! That shit was nothing.”

Rihanna’s boyfriend is now readying his new album, tentatively titled All Smiles, which is about 90 percent complete. “It’s all about the evolution,” he told GQ of his new music. “I just want to make some good music, that’s all. I want to feel great about doing it, and I want people to feel great about hearing it.”

The annual Puerto Rican Day Parade is set to go down in New York City this June 13. But before the Boricua community gathers together on the streets of Manhattan to celebrate their culture, Nike got some heat for them to wear on 5th Avenue.

Two years after Nike scrapped plans for their much-criticized Air Force 1 “Puerto Rico,” the Swoosh brand returns with a remixed version of their classic Air Max 97 OG “Silver Bullet” that pays homage to the Nuyoricans that help make New York City that much more culturally beautiful. Featuring the Puerto Rican flag on the tongue’s pull-tab and air-sole bubble, the sneakers will definitely be seen on the feet of many Ricans when the festivities roll down from 44th street to 79th street next week.

But that’s not all.

“The phrase ‘Aquí Me Quedo,’ translated to “I’ll Stay Here,” is printed on the insole, a message reflecting the community’s historically strong connection to New York City.”

These joints are going to fly off the shelves.

The Air Max 97 “Puerto Rico” and a commemorative T-shirt are set to release on June 5 on SNKRS and at select retailers. Will you be picking up a pair? Check out pics of the kicks and let us know if you’ll be checking for these when they drop this weekend.

Like, ‘OK, I’m not on Instagram, so I feel like I’ve got to bring them into my life more so they can feel me a little more.’”

At this year’s Grammys, the Compton rapper performed ‘Heartless (Live From L.A.)’, a song for which he pays tribute to a friend he lost.
