The Justin Timberlake and Justin Bieber vocals are in.
DJ Khaled has revealed that the pop superstars are set to appear on his upcoming album Khaled Khaled. On Friday, Khaled shared video of himself on a FaceTime call with Timberlake, while teasing their “last minute” collaboration.
“This record touched me, man,” said Timberlake, who compared the song to JAY-Z’s “Song Cry” and “Holy Grail,” on which he was featured. “This is an important song. If ‘Song Cry’ would have never existed, but then ‘Holy Grail’ was ‘Song Cry.’”
Khaled also provided an update on his album progress: “BREAKING NEWS ALBUM 99% DONE!!!”
He later shared a screenshot of a missed FaceTime call from the two Justins, while revealing that the “Peaches” singer will also appear on his album. “@justinbieber I just got done with the mix a few days ago and @jtimberlake I just sent the record we did together off to mix,” he wrote.
Khaled and Bieber previously collaborated on hits like “No Brainer” and “I’m the One,” which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Khaled Khaled, the follow-up to 2019’s Father of Asahd, is shaping up to be another star-studded affair. Khaled has also been in the studio with H.E.R., Migos, Nas, Lil Baby, Roddy Ricch, and Timbaland.
